13 SEER Heat Pump, Air Conditioners
And Gas/Electric Packs
What does having a 13 SEER
Package System mean?
Your packaged system’s cooling efficiency is measured
by Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER). The higher
the SEER rating the more efficiently your unit operates.
Increased efficiency translates into savings in utility
costs. This 13 SEER line of packaged units are available in air conditioner, gas/electric pack, or heat pump.
A packaged heat pump provides both electric heating and cooling. In the case of a packaged air conditioner, it provides
cooling--and warmth if need be--supplied by a 20KW heating
strip. Where climates require more heating capacity,
a combination air conditioner (electricity) and furnace
(gas) packaged unit, "gas pack", delivers
improved energy efficiency. Whatever your individual
need for space and comfort might be, your Tappan dealer
can recommend the packaged system that's right for you.
